5 Books That Have Intriguing Covers

“Don’t judge a book by its cover” a statement almost everyone has said at least once in their lives. Well… Sometimes purchasing a book also has to do with how the cover looks. For me it’s that case. But let’s be honest, some of us bibliophiles complain about how ugly a cover looks and how if the cover isn’t decent it’s not worth sitting on your shelf. Agree or disagree, here are five books that have simple, yet beautiful covers:

In no particular order:

  1. Everything, Everything by Nicola YoonEverythingEverythingCover
  2. Made You Up by Francesca Zappia91kwlrwzmhl
  3. All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr81TRTuHJSnL
  4. A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray51iWOxQ4DsL._SY344_BO1,204,203,200_
  5. My Heart And Other Black Holes by Jasmine Wargatumblr_inline_njiekzI47B1sv5nsi

These are covers that I found particularly eye-catching and the synopsis are pretty great as well. What are some of books that you think have pretty covers? Leave in the comments so I can check it out! 🙂

  1. I’mm definitely a “judge by a cover” type of girl. I usually go for books with aesthetically appealing book covers compare to a really plain “ugly” looking one. HAHA and yes I agree about complaining about ugly covers. I have ugly book covers on my bookshelf and I really don’t like how they look on the shelf.

These book covers are indeed pretty! 🙂

  2. All the Light We Cannot See was my favorite read of 2014, and I think the cover of it really helped set the tone! I just received a galley of Everything, Everything and I can’t wait to read it – the cover caught my eye on Instagram but the synopsis sounds great too.

I hate when the bindings of books are boring or ugly colors! I reorganized my bookshelf yesterday and found a lot of those 😦
